I didn't decide to become a breeder overnight. From the day we picked up our Mini-Goldendoodle and I saw that whelping box on the floor next to our Breeder, my interest was peaked. I continued to research breeds, coats, temperaments, size, and health, and discovered the AussieDoodle. I'll write a separate post about the breed. I digress. Back to why I'm a Badass Breeder. I'm not one to ever do anything without educating myself. I joined groups like the FB Doodle Breeders Resource Group and quickly saw a common theme. "Get the Badass Breeders Guide." I invested a small amount of money, bought the guide, and read it. I enrolled in the FREE classes, listened to them as I was on the treadmill, and soaked up every. single. bit. I knew right there and then, that this "Jeanette Forrey" lady knew her stuff. She was real. Raw. And she was willing to help other breeders to become better. To become Badass Breeders. That's not something you find every day. Jeanette gave me the courage to do it afraid. So, here I am. For quite some time I was the Breeder without a litter. And now. . .I can say, I have a litter on the ground, and I can't wait to empower my pups. My first little Merritt Heart Menders are on their way to making a difference in this world!
